Boggo Road Markets (Around the Jail) 231011

Today was the opening of the Boggo Road Markets off Annerly Road, Dutton Park. What a perfect location! The colourful and culturally diverse stalls, set between the old jail and the Ecosciences Precinct, make for a wonderfully vibrant atmosphere. Texture, time, tasty tomato!

Every Sunday 7am - 1pm

Three women dangling their leggs in the garden whilst eating lunch at the markets. I'm learning to sketch the public without attracting too much attention or changing the behavior of those being observed. I'm guessing that there's three generations here, enjoying the afternoon and planning a trip to the ice-cream stall. 

I'd like to be sketching stall by stall although it's nearing 1pm and the market is beginning to pack away. Next time!
