Ching Chung Taoist Association of Australia

Whilst driving my brother to his skydiving adventures towards the Sunshine Coast this weekend, I noticed a brown sign to a Taoist Temple off the Gateway Arterial Road. A return visit was necessary.. and what a surprise.. Arriving just in time, I experienced a ritualistic ceremony whereby the worshipers, dressed in yellow and red gowns, were chanting and pacing through the 4 wings of the temple building. All 4 wings faced towards a courtyard garden where I was sitting.. special.

Hi Emily,

Great Blog. Lovely drawings.

I too was driving past the big brown sign a lot and I just went this Sunday for a visit and there were 3 people in red gowns doing their ritual. I was awesome to witness that, I am so glad I went...

Thanks for posting this,
Janelle

Hi there Janelle,

I'm glad you took the time to pop into the temple. It really is a treasure. I'd like to spend more time in there drawing. Thanks for leaving a message, it's so wonderful to have fresh eyes on my work.

Keep adventuring!

Emily.
