This space was found under our accommodation in Venice and I could have sat there drawing and thinking for ages. The texture, the lighting, the scale, the connection to the water (both visual and physical)...break it down. This typology was also found in the back service areas of the large plazas. A visual delight of openings to the sky and small overhead pedestrian bridges.
