The Ponte Vecchio seen from the river bank. This river bank was very active as I wandered from this point right under the Vecchio bridge. They were holding an awards ceremony for dragon boat racing. The city was also alive with activity around the world cup soccer. The spaniards had won and there seemed to be plenty in town to make noise about it!
